This month I have finished my teacher training and have managed to get a posting to an amazing school. This makes a great Xmas present as I no longer have to worry about what I am going to do.

I have started putting in pictures of my old art as well some of the new. Some of the pictures I have done recently were used as modeled examples for my students in my last teaching experience.

They examples are not great, but that was not the point. The point was to motivate the students into taking risks and experimenting with their art work. This was important as some children find it difficult to create and experiment. However, I always tell them that there are no mistakes in art. If it isn't exactly the way we want it, we have to look at it and decide how we can change it to make it better.
